Skiing takes place between a breathtaking 2872 masl down to 1377 masl and consists of high quality pistes and almost endless off-piste for those who want to venture outside the markings.
The lift system has an impressive 238 km of continuous slopes divided into 37 blue, 34 red and 10 black slopes, of which 90% are over 2000 m. Trust us when we say that skiing in Ischgl beats most you have tried and you will not be disappointed.
Skiing also extends to Switzerland and you can run down to the duty free village of Samnaun for duty free shopping. Here you can find really good offers, but remember: you have to go home with the goods on skis.
The lift system is one of the most modern in Austria, and lift queues are virtually non-existent. There is a rich selection of gondolas, cabin lifts and chair lifts of the highest comfort and quality. The efficiency of the lift system is impressive and new and improved investments are made in this every single year!

Freeride (off-piste) in Ischgl
If you love spending time off-piste, Ischgl in Paznaun has plenty of options for you. In some areas, impressive freeride lines await in the immediate vicinity of the slopes! The area allows beginners as well as advanced and passionate freeriders and "Touring" lovers to experience the coolest powder runs. The powdery slopes with a slope of up to 50 percent.
Available lines with rocks that challenge your technique and coordination. Great opportunities for freeride, even days after the last snowfall. The Ischgl area really has something to offer for any snow addict.

Freestyle in Ischgl
Ischgl is a true paradise for snowboarders, jumpers and freestylers. BOARDERS PARADISE! But also Skiers! The huge snow park consists of two park areas with over 35 obstacles and a halfpipe of 90 meters.
Park area 1: whether you are hardcore or a beginner, here is something for all styles, on skis or snowboards.
Parkarea 2: perfect for you who already have experience with kickers, speed in inrun, rotations, jips and the like.
The highlight of Parkarea 2 is the huge back jump at the end of the course. Here you can practice your jumps and rotations, and even land softly.
Cross-country skiing
The supply of cross-country skiing in Ischgl is extremely limited. There are two trails starting from Ischgl, 5 and 6 km long respectively. One of these goes via Mathon towards Valzur and here there is a connection to a few more trails starting from the town of Galtür.
