Ski holiday in Sölden with varied skiing up to 3,340 metres
The ski area
Sölden is one of the highest ski areas in Austria, and this is reflected in the snow conditions. You can ski from around 1,350 to 3,340 metres, and with two glaciers, conditions remain good throughout the season. The ski area offers more than 140 kilometres of slopes and over 30 lifts connecting the different areas. It is spread across several linked mountain faces, where modern lifts make it easy to get around. Sölden is also known for its three peaks above 3,000 metres, offering long descents and views across the Alps.
The town of Sölden
Sölden is a lively town with a wide selection of restaurants, shops and cafés. The town stretches along the valley, and many hotels are located near either the Giggijoch or Gaislachkogl lift.
A ski bus runs throughout the town, making it easy to get to and from the slopes. You’ll find both traditional eateries and more modern restaurants, making it easy to choose options that suit both families and groups.
