Après-ski
Sölden is well known for its après-ski, with many venues located close to the lifts so you can continue your day after your last run.
The atmosphere usually starts in the late afternoon and continues into the town in the evening. You’ll find both lively places with music and quieter bars where you can relax and talk about the day.

Target group
Sölden suits families, couples and groups of friends. Beginners can start in calmer areas with wide slopes, while more experienced skiers will find challenges on longer and steeper runs. Sölden is especially a good choice if you prioritise high altitude and stable snow conditions.

Skiing
The ski area offers more than 140 kilometres of slopes across different difficulty levels. At Giggijoch, you’ll find wide and easy-to-navigate slopes, ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers.
The Gaislachkogl area offers longer runs and more variation, with the option to ski all the way down to the valley. The Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers provide extra snow reliability and good conditions, even towards the end of the season.The lift system is modern and connects the areas efficiently, allowing you to cover a lot in a single ski day.

Experiences beyond skiing
When you’re not skiing, there are several options in and around Sölden. You can visit the Aqua Dome, located a short distance from the town, which offers warm outdoor pools with mountain views.
There are also opportunities for winter hiking and tobogganing. The town has an active atmosphere with cafés and bars, where you can end the day at a relaxed pace or with a bit more energy.
